DAY 1 : TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN - VOLUBILIS - FES

Private Morocco Tour from Tangier starts after hotel pick up and Desert Sans Frontieres's driver will take you towards Rif Mountains. We started the route through Chefchaouen - city with white houses and indigo tones. Explore the Moorish culture. The medina is very calm and quiet , we visit places of interest include: The Makhzen square, the Kebir Mosque. Then we departure for the roman city of Volubilis listed word heritage by Unesco, guided visit, then road to Fes, arrival and overnight in hotel or riad.

DAY 2: FES GUIDED EXCURSION

Enjoy our tour of Fes, a city with Royal Palace, the Christian and Jewish quarters, and the enchanting medina: the city’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed stunner. Entertaining commentary from your onboard guide helps to bring each of the incredible Fes sights to life as you explore. Spend the afternoon at your leisure. Perhaps explore the charming warren of streets and steps that make up the medina, or wander amid colourfully chaotic market stalls in the souks. Dinner and accommodation at hotel.

DAY 3: FES -MIDELT - MERZOUGA DESERT

Today we continue our private Morocco tour and we head towards Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. We stop at Azrou, a Berber village near cedar forest, where we may well watch Barbarian apes. Then we’ll travel through Ziz valley passing few Berber villages to Erfoud and then Rissani. In Merzouga we meet our camels who are waiting to take us on another adventure in the sand dunes. This will be a much slower travel into the dunes to spend the night in a bivouac (tents) fully equipped for the night spent in the heart of the Sahara. Trek to the top of the nearest dune to watch the sunset and enjoy the traditional meal served by the Berber guides and their music.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA  - TODRA GORGES - DADES GORGES

After early wake up we ride camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast and shower we drive to Rissani, then Tinghir and Todra gorges. It is the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch here we’ll pass the Dades valley and the amazing rock formations known as monkey toes. We spend overnight in traditional riad / hotel with dinner and breakfast.

DAY 5: DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH

Today we’ll drive towards Kalaat Mgouna ,the rose city, where we may purchase the rosewater, local famous product made by roses. We visit Skoura , the n Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou , the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Then we pass Tizi n’ Tichka mountain road to reach Marrakech.
